Is there a minimum investment?
This varies between the various portfolio mandates but generally, for local portfolios, we suggest a minimum initial investment of R250 000 and for Offshore investments, a minimum initial investment of R1 000 000. However, we can be flexible in certain situations.
Which investment is suitable for me?
NVest Securities offers a variety of investment solutions. Arrange an appointment with one of our Portfolio Managers who can assist by selecting the appropriate solution that best suits your risk profile and investment objectives.
How do I go about opening an account?
Opening an account is a fairly simple process that involves completing our Consolidated Mandate and providing the required FICA documents. Our trained professionals will assist you through the process.
How can I track my investment?
All clients receive access to our dedicated client portal, which enables you to track your investments and provides access to other functions. The portal is easily accessible from the NVest Securities website or digital business card, whereby client’s login with their secure details and can be accessed by clicking on the My Portfolio button.
Am I able to withdraw funds?
Funds can be withdrawn from an investment account with 3 days’ notice.
Who decides what shares to invest in?
The NVest Securities Investment Committee, made up of experienced Portfolio Managers and Research Analysts, applies a rigorous selection process in the construction of each Investment solution.

NVest Securities sends out monthly market commentary along with various other investment views. Please subscribe to our communications for regular updates.
